1966 xmas 3d gold silhouette flaw 3 part missing gold head strip of 4 U/M

The missing part is caused by a shift of the silhouette die. SG explained how these occurred: "Either because the film from which the heads were applied was re-used or because it did not feed through the blocking press properly. Examples are known showing 'A row of only partial queens heads in these cases the embossing is complete but the gold is only partially printed with a colourless silhouette of the head encroaching into it' The result of the gold already having been die-stamped out of the film."
